Welcome to Mackenzie Travels!

My name is Mackenzie and I'm a twenty‑something traveler, planner, and newly minted American expat living in the EU.  In 2024, I packed up my life and moved across the Atlantic. I had no idea what I was doing; it felt like jumping off a cliff into the unknown.  It turned out to be the best decision of my life.
 

I’ve always been the friend who builds the trip itinerary, finds the hidden gems, the perfect spots for dinner, and somehow squeezes a week worth of activities into one perfect weekend. Now I travel every chance I get and have been to places I didn't even know existed before (sorry Tenerife). From spontaneous weekend trips to slow, laid-back exploring, I’m learning how to build a life here while enjoying the quirky adventures that come along with it.
